Around the world with Catherine

Manchester Buddhist CentreA tour of some of the beautiful Buddhist places of worship set up in Britain in the last few decades; some by Western converts; others by communities from traditionally Buddhist countries. What does this 2,500 year-old tradition look like as it marks its first century in Britain?

A Buddhist since the early 1990s, Catherine is active in the Network of Buddhist Organisations UK. This, and her work as director of a Buddhist charity, give her plenty of insight into British Buddhism, its relationship to government and its considerable but often unseen contribution to modern British life.
