MunishaCatherine has lectured to schools and societies around Britain since 1985. For many years she taught school groups at the Tate Gallery, London; from 1998 to 2015 she worked for The Clear Vision Trust, a Buddhist charity in Manchester, first as education officer and later as director. Since 2013 she has worked as Communications and Liaison Officer for the Triratna Buddhist Order in Europe.

She was ordained a member of the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2003 (then known as the Western Buddhist Order) and given the Sanskrit name Munisha: “She who has the power or mastery of a sage; one moved by inward impulse; inspired; ecstatic; an enthusiast”.
